[YA] The book follows the adventures of four best friends—Lena Kaligaris, Tibby Rollins, Bridget Vreeland, and Carmen Lowell, who are spending their first summer apart. When a magical pair of jeans comes into their lives, their summer turns upside down.
I’d heard about this book before, admittedly because I’d seen the trailer to the movie. I picked up the movie from the library last week and had watched about half of it and then I said, “What the hey? Might as well read the book.” So I checked out the first two books of the series. I read “Sisterhood” in one night, in a few hours. I thought it was pretty good, but wasn’t like, “OHMIGODWOW!” But it was good.
I give the book a solid three stars out of five for being an entertaining read.
